On March 1st 2022, the UK government announced it would develop a new humanitarian sponsorship programme that will allow an unlimited number of Ukrainian families to come to the UK.
Here at Sanctuary Foundation we are supporting potential sponsors, assisting the government in the roll-out of the ‘Homes For Ukraine’ scheme, and resourcing individuals, community groups, churches, schools and businesses to build this vital provision for Ukrainian refugees.
With such an extraordinary surge of public commitment to help refugees in the UK, we want to do all we can to make sure vulnerable people are safely cared for. Our response has the potential to be a global game changer in the way refugees are welcomed into communities.
If you believe you may be able to help, please fill in your details below. With this information we can send you updates and invitations to relevant events.

Pledges So Far
Making a donation today will enable us to promote refugee welcome and welfare. It will help us provide for the practical needs of families from Ukraine, Afghanistan and elsewhere. It will also enable us to provide training and support to those offering sanctuary to others and to continue to mobilise volunteers and government. Surplus funds will be directed where needs are greatest to support those who are displaced as a result of war, conflict, violence and persecution, and to those who are supporting refugee welcome and welfare.
Funds raised will be used by Sanctuary Foundation to deliver these aims directly or through grants to other charities or partner organisations where appropriate.
